ReplyDeleteYes, mysterious and beautiful. When I was little and would spend time in Savannah and SSI, I would always bring some spanish moss home with me. I wanted so badly for it to grow in my trees at home. Your pictures are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteNice to see the south this week Michelle. Its sunny but cold here today, most of the beautiful leaves are down and whistling along the streets and yards ready to be raked. Not a hint of spanish moss here.

I was born and raised in Schenectady, NY and now live in Williamsville, near Buffalo. I will soon be moving to Texas. I think every place has its beauty.

ReplyDeleteThat moss holds a whole lot more than "mystery". I remember many a summer day, playing in moss (Florida) as a little girl and having bug bites all over me. Mama would say,"uh huh, I know where you've been". ROFL!!!!

I love Spanish moss. I didn't grow up around it. But fell in love with it when I moved to Louisiana. Our property had lots of it. We now live near Lake Houston and our community has spanish moss but not nearly as much as we had in Louisiana. The pictures are awesome!!!

Oh, I LOVE Spanish moss. While Raleigh is beautiful in it's own way, there is something so awesome about the South Carolina landscape!
