I have been joining in with Courtney, at Women Living Well, for her Be My Valentine Marriage Challenge and this week the challenge is a fun one!  It is a KISS your way to a better marriage!!!

Pursue kissing your husband. Purpose to meet him at the door with a whopper of a kiss!

For some readers – this is going to be an especially tough challenge.  If your love has run out – you don’t need to manufacture it on your own - remember where love comes from, (I John 4:,7,8) love comes from God.  Go to God in prayer, be honest –ask God to help bring the spark back to your marriage and restore the love you once had.

OK, ladies, I say lets go for it!  My husband is out of town during the week so I have to wait until Friday to share that wonderful kiss with him.  I know sometimes life gets so hectic and distracting that I kind of forget to really get lost in the simple act of kissing....but not this week!

Sunday Social!

Summer has hit my blogging routine pretty hard!  I swear I just can't seem to get in the groove and keep it going.  As far as day to day summer is going along JUST AS IT SHOULD...with slow, calm, lazy days...maybe that is why I can't seem to find time (or inspiration to blog???)  We are working on a DIY project right now of DD's bedroom & bath which I hope to post about later in the week (she hasn't seen it yet and I don't want to spoil the surprise.)  In hopes of getting back into regular blogging I looked no further than Ashley's Carnival Ride Social Sunday and thought I would jump on the blog hop:

This week's questions are all about TV!  Which is fun for me since I have really developed TV watching as a recent in life pass time...seriously before the last couple of years I never watched! Yes, I know, I am an odd ball!

1. What is your favorite TV show of the past?  That would have to be Jericho!  It was a short lived series that I actually watched in completion on DVD after it was off TV.  I loved it (thought I found it kind of scary too!)

2. What is your current favorite TV show? That would be Dallas!  Yes, it could have actually been my old favorite (but it wasn't because, honestly I didn't watch much TV back in the day!) Although it has only been on a few weeks, I am completely sucked in and you will find me on the sofa front and center on Wednesday nights at 9:00 PM.

3. Which reality show would you NEVER do? I can't imagine doing ANY reality show so I think I could list all of them here....nope, nadda, never!  Not to mention I think to be on a reality show I would have to start swearing more and yelling at people and that just seems like a lot of work.

4. Which reality show would you LOVE to do?  See my answer to # 3 and that pretty much sums it up.  I am not crazy about reality TV...can you tell?

5. What is the TV personality/character that you feel is most like you?  I am not sure, but I think probably a cross between Julia and Suzanne Sugarbaker (Designing Women.) come to think of it I probably should have put Designing Women up there under question 1 too!

6. Which TV character would you want to date? Wow, that is a hard one....I don't know if I have one!  Can it be a movie character???  If so, then any character played by Josh Lucas!  This is, of course, saying I was not married to the love of my life....of course.

I wish I were going.......

 Obviously, I didn't get to join all the girls (are there guys there too?) at Blissdom '11.  I guess I can put it on my wish list for next time because it looks like so much fun!

 Apparently, I am not the only one who is wishing she could have joined in the fun, check out Amanda's Not Going to Blissdom post yesterday. So, even though I didn't get to go this year, I am doing the next best thing (and what all the cool girls are doing..just sayin') by joining the No-Go Blissdom Blog Hop hosted by Danielle at Mom With a MiniVan and Ann Marie at Household 6 Diva for her Blizzard Blog Hop.

This way, I can link up with other "go less" bloggers and find new great reads and friends along the way! Part of Danielle's idea was to make it easier to get to know each other by answering 3 questions pertaining our blogs:

1. When did you start blogging and Why?
I started blogging almost 5 years ago.  I don't exactly know why I started but I think (it has been a while, ya know?) was that it was a way to journal.  Honestly, I don't remember putting much thought into it.   When I started my blog, I wouldn't even use the word "blog" because I thought it was so not me.  Somewhere along the line, though, obviously I succumbed to the word and the term blogger.


2. What is one thing you are going to do this week that is WAY cooler than going to BlogHer?
Uh, well...hmmm...give me a minute....Ok, Friday night I am going with a girlfriend and her children (2 of mine will be in tow as well) to try a new restaurant and eat ourselves silly. Who says calabash seafood isn't cool?

3. Share a post that you think says a lot about you or is your favorite.
This one is a hard one because the ones from the beginning of the blog are so different from later ones, as I have really changed as my life has changed and the season in which I find myself now is much different than where I was 5 years ago.  So, I am going to cheat a little here and leave you with 3 posts (one from recently and a couple of older ones).  Just so you can try to pick up my "vibe" ...doesn't that make me sound all cool and mysterious?
