I am super excited to be hosting a giveaway for this great software program! I have been learning the ins and outs of this program and I am just thrilled with all the options and possibilities it offers!  I used to be a devoted traditional scrapbooker but over the last few years, as my photos all became digital, I pretty much stopped scrapping.  So, I am interested in digital scrapping and I have 1000s of photo to work with! My Memories software  is very easy to use and offers major flexibility...and isn't near as messy as traditional scrapping and is less expensive! 

Look at what I made in about 5 minutes! 

It was my 1st attempt using the software and I was pretty pleased with the outcome!

I love Molasses Cookies!

Last week I received the opportunity to review Betty Crocker's Molasses cookie mix through Blogspark and let me tell you they were GOOD.  Not just good, but....really GOOD.

I love molasses cookies but haven't had the best of luck making them from scratch.  First off, working with molasses can be, well...a mess and then my homemade ones always get too crunchy and never stay thick, moist and chewy.  No worries now,  because these cookies were perfect and I was done, start to finish, in about 20 minutes (which is a good thing in my world!)

It has been a couple of days since I made them and they are still moist and chewy and in my cookie world the perfect snack for fall.

April 20011 brought an exciting (well to me, at least) Blogversary.  On April 26, 2006 I posted for the very first time!  It was a single photo and caption.  Boy, over the last FIVE years I got wordy. 

I started blogging shortly after I started reading this blog (originally on a different blog host). Hans is the brother to my oldest, and dearest friend, who we lost to breast cancer in 2004.  I guess he was my inspiration to start a blog (who knew?).  I often find myself blogging about things I wish I could share with Sonja, even 7 years later.

I couldn't have imagined how many fun things and people it would bring into my life.  I have met some amazing friends, learned so much, and even found myself developing new professional directions from my blog.  It has been a wonderful ride and I love the land of blog (yes, I have warmed to the word.)

It has been almost 5 years!

Pillsbury Strudel Breakfast Giveaway!

Look what I got in the mail the other day!  Isn't this "Million Morning Smiles" Prize pack full of cute things?  I received this free prize pack from Pillsbury through My BlogSpark. Not only did we get some fun things, my children were extra excited that they were going to have strudel for breakfast!
