We aren't doing Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I think we are going to skip Thanksgiving and Christmas and just celebrate Thanksmas or maybe, ChristGiving (I like that one better, anyway).  You see, around these parts, we start the holidays in November – way before Thanksgiving - and they run clear through until Christmas.  Seriously…it all becomes one big holiday anyway!  So this year instead of Thanksgiving and Christmas…I believe we will just do Christgiving…thank you very much.

  8. LOL, I think I like this idea! The decorating and parties start earlier and earlier every year, might as well be one big celebration.
But seriously, I do love the phrase "Christgiving"!

  9. I am absolutely in favor of this. And really, if we could just start it at Halloween because really, that's when the total lack of nutritional self discipline comes into play. We could call it HalloChristGiving. Alas, we are trying to find a house at St. Simon's or Isle of Palms/Wild Dunes this year to escape to before my husband's deployment. December is so much more pleasant at the beach. Agreed? ;)
