I just want to say thank you to all those who have served and continue to sacrifice for this great nation.

It is Done!!!!

If you are a long time Southern Somedays reader you may remember this post: http://southerness.blogspot.com/2007/06/school-boys.html where I talked about my DH (dear Husband) going back to school to finish his MBA. So you can imagine my excitement and relief in announcing, HE IS DONE!!!! WhoooHOOOOOOOOOO! In many ways the time seemed to fly, but in lots (and I mean lots) of ways it has been a long, long process. I still don't know how he managed to keep all things rolling and I admire him for all his hard work, late nights, early mornings, amazing juggling skills and commitment.

My DH received his MBA last weekend from the University of West Georgia and we are so proud of him. So...now what to do with all that free time? Hmmmmm?

What I am reading Monday...

So, what are you reading right now? I went to the Annual Mother/Daughter luncheon at my church yesterday, and was delighted that the speaker was one of my favorite authors, Ronda Rich (www.rondarich.com ). She has a new book out and I sat down, late yesterday afternoon, and started it. I am loving it already. Her latest is What Southern Women Know About Faith. This is a good one, so if you are looking for a spring time read or need a fantastic Mother's Day gift head out and grab yourself a copy! http://www.whatsouthernwomenknow.com/index.php?page=what-southern-women-know-about-faith
