Crafty Question: Cricut or Silhouette?

I have decided I would like to get either a Cricut or a Silhouette cutting machine (considering there is a wedding in my future I can see a lot of great uses for these nifty tools!) but I need some advice from all the wildly talented crafters out there!  So please leave me some feedback on your experiences!

    Hi Sweet Friend! I've had a Silhouette for about 3 years now. I LOVE it!!! Why??? Super simple reason: NO cartridges to buy! (Plus, it is easy peasy to use!)

    I've had the Silhouette for at least 3 years and I love it! Why do I recommend it?? NO cartridges to buy and it is easy peasy to use! :)

    Silhouette!!! 3 year-owner here, too! I can't understand why anyone would choose the Cricut over the Silhouette - the Silhouette will use any font on your computer. I have 900 fonts!!! I can't imagine having to buy 9, much less 900 :-P, cartridges. It will also trace & cut any clip art shape you want for free, too. I relish the freedom to arrange my designs on my computer screen before cutting, too, to maximize the amount I get out of each sheet. (I fit monograms into the blank space of any vinyl designs I cut, b/c I can *ALWAYS* use an extra random monogram sticker here or there!!! And = no wasted product! ;-))

    I don't have either, but would some day like to have a Silhouette. The Cricut seems like a continuous out-pouring of money!

    I would say silhouette! You can make custom designs!
