Spring in the South...

Last weekend we took a short walk around  "The Prettiest Town in Dixie", Cheraw, SC and I took some pictures of a few of the beautiful Southern homes and colors that Spring has delivered.  Here are just a few shots and be sure to check out the link to the complete album for a full dose of Spring in the South!

Happy Monday, y'all!

  2. Oh this is the prettiest town I've seen in a long time! I remember as a child driving through Mobile, Alabama's historic district with my Mom during the peak of the azalea season. This town and the beautiful homes remind of there. I'm from the South and live in the Midwest now and sure miss all the wonderful blooming plants like Dogwoods and Camelias. Thanks for sharing..this ole displaced southern belle enjoyed your photos!!

  5. My daughter used to go to school there. I loved driving around and looking at the beautiful yards and houses. Last may I posted some pictures from a garden tour that I took there. I think they will have another one this May. I'm not sure of the date. Carla

What beautiful sights from around the South. I miss celebrating spring with family and friends in the humid embrace of the warmer months, but we're thankful to have a unique experience this spring. Thank you for sharing!

  19. Ahh! Nothing like spring in the south! Doesn't that swing porch just make you want a nice glass of sweet tea? Come to think of it, it would be even better in a mason jar! :)

    Thanks for sharing!
